We recognize that many leaders and communities have struggled to achieve their aspirations to prepare all students to live a life with economic mobility and social well-being.
We created this workshop to provide individuals who lead, govern, manage, and support public K-12 school systems with new mental models to bring about the consistent positive outcomes for students and staff that have eluded their community.
This interdisciplinary workshop is rooted in the belief that it is possible for the many stakeholders influencing public K-12 school systems to work more effectively together to provide fundamentally better experiences for students, staff, and stakeholders.
We believe our workshop, which reflects our experience and values, will provide you with the methods and frameworks you need to foster meaningful, lasting change your students, staff, and communities deserve.
We believe in people and the power of people. We have built our careers around our desire to empower leaders and teams to achieve success in even the most difficult situations. We don't shy away from the hard stuff; we lean into it by building healthy team environments that demonstrate respect for individuals and allow for self-care. We see our role as helping to increase simplicity, empathy, and action-orientation in complex systems.
Our complementary backgrounds in public education and non-profit health care equip us with a powerful blend of insights into organizational systems – and the people who work within them. We have experienced the exhaustion of our teams and selves, and have developed approaches that achieve results in ways that are also better for staff.
We look forward to learning with you as we take a fresh look at the mental models used to drive change in your school system.
